PEN Photon Energy Group announces the retirement of Michael Gartner from his position on the Board of Directors and the appointment of David Forth, CFO to the Board of Directors
The Board of Directors announces that after more than 16 years of working with the Photon Energy Group, Michael Gartner, one of the Group’s founders, its CTO and member of the Board of Directors, has decided to retire from his day-to-day managerial duties, effective as of 31 December 2024. Michael Gartner will not be seeking reappointment to the Board of Directors at the Group’s Annual General Meeting on 14 June 2024, but has been nominated to become a member of the Supervisory Board, effective as of 1 January 2025, after the end of his employment by the Group.
The Supervisory Board has nominated David Forth, the Group’s CFO, to replace Michael Gartner on the Board of Directors of Photon Energy N.V. Mr. Forth has been with the Company since 1 February 2024. Prior to joining Photon Energy Group David has gained extensive experience in senior managerial positions with multinational companies and has held a series of senior interim roles, including Interim CFO of Eurowag (W.A.G. Payment Solutions plc) and Interim Management Finance Director at Mothercare, Costa Coffee, Dr Martens, Eddie Stobart and AB Sugar.
