Main purpose of the role and key responsibilities:

The person in this position will be responsible for supervision over mobile operator network at network operations center. Classification of faults reported by the network management system and further routing of the fault tickets to appropriate organisation units.

The position is an excellent job opportunity for talented engineers to gain professional experience in telecommunication industry. It gives a direct contact with the complexity of telecom operator network and allows to face the responsibility for its operations in real life. Now, it is also a reliable base for further professional development within future international telecom projects at Research & Engineering Center in Wroclaw.

Qualifications:


Candidates must have the following:


* Excellent theoretical knowledge on GSM/UMTS network

* University degree or last years of study

* Fast learning ability, open-mindness and capability to act fast in stressful situations

* Readiness to travel in general

* and in particular: to stay a few months in Warsaw/Poland (approx. from 3 to12 months, based on individual case
* Ready to work variable hours including overnight shifts

* Good English (communicative, very good written)


The ideal candidate will also have the following skills and experience:


* Practical knowledge on network operations support systems, at best: NetAct

* Experience in working in fast paced environment

* Detailed knowledge on SS7 Protocols and communication scenarios in GSM/UMTS network

* Experience as an integrator/tester for GSM/UMTS software
