W brazylijskiej metropolii Sao Paulo kilka tysięcy osób uczestniczyło mimo ulewnego deszczu w pochodzie protestacyjnym w centrum miasta. Demonstrowano także m.in. w dawnej stolicy Brazylii.
Spór płacowy sparaliżował życie 20-milionowej metropolii.
Protestujący domagają się m.in. zredukowania do 40 godzin tygodnia pracy oraz utrzymania dotychczasowej metody naliczania emerytur pracowników przechodzących na wcześniejszą emeryturę.
